Bombers + Space Buns

You ever have buyers regrets?
Well I immediately had it after I left Model Citizens the other day when I saw it hanging on the door while I was leaving the store.
I started walking back up to meet Thomas and as soon as I got in the car I told him about it.
And then I had a battle between myself on whether to go back down and get it or not,
and I went back and forth so much Thomas was just like
"Megan, go back down and get it for the love of god!'
So I leaped out of the car in delight and walked back down to Model Citizens and picked it up!
I feel less bad about buying things when he tells me to buy it for some reason...

I'm loving the bomber look, it's like as soon as I put this bomber on I immediately wanted to look edgy yet cute.
And I thought space buns were a cuter option than curled hair!
They add in that extra style factor.
Very Gwen Stefani inspired.
I feel this outfit wouldn't look as cool without them!

HAIR TIP: Space buns are so easy to achieve!

1: Part your hair in the middle (the same as you would with pig tails)
2. Pick a side to start on and then
twist it and start coiling the hair around itself
(If you want more of a messy look put your hair in pigtails first then tease your hair and coil it around itself)
3. Put an elastic around the hair to secure it
4. Tuck in any fly away pieces with bobby pins
5. Repeat on the other side

This is such a great hair style when you don't actually want to do your hair.
Also a cute option for the beach or the pool, they keep their shape so easy.
There's nothing worse when half your hair is in your face from getting in and out of the water and you look like a literal drowned rat.
At least you'll look adorable with these cute little buns on top of your head.

I can't wait to style this jacket with more things!
I'm dying to find a nice slip dress to pair underneath this (Totally stealing this idea from Diana down at Model Citizens!)
It's a cool over piece to own.
I was on the hunt for a nice bomber for a while now, and I haven't found any that I really loved.
I got so desperate at one point I borrowed Thomas's American Apparel Bomber and did a "borrowed from the boys" look with it and paired it with ripped black denim and a graphic tee.
Graphic tee's and bombers go together like milk cookies.
So when in doubt-graphic tee!
But you can always throw a bomber over pretty much everything.
From midi dresses to a tank and culottes to boyfriend jeans and a plain t-shirt.
The bomber is fun way to dress down something that might be dressy or edge up an outfit that's plain.

Here are a few cute bomber styles you can check out:
Zara - this one is on sale and has a fun similar pattern to the one I'm wearing!
American Apparel - this is the one that I borrowed from Thomas! LOVE it!
Topshop - this is such a great color to bring into the fall and winter!
Forever 21 - I actually love this one

Also go do yourself a favor and go get some gelato from the Newfoundland Chocolate Company.
So damn good!!!
