Don't Forget to Sparkle: Denim and Leather

There are key fashion pieces every girl should have in their wardrobe like a little black dress, a great pair of pumps or a fabulous piece of jewellery! And a denim shirt is definitely one of those key fashion items! It's just something every girl should have their arsenal and it's actually become a key fashion item that can be paired with pretty much anything-Black denim, skirts, paired over a dress, or with more denim for a fashionable Canadian tuxedo look (which actually looks super cool if you do it right! (..just no mullets please)

This week I decided to pair my denim shirt with a leather skirt and espadrilles for a fun badass meets summer look! I also had to include my new Rebecca Minkoff Ascher Studded Crossbody I got at Found Consignment Boutique. Such a great find! Like who could ever give this beauty queen up?! and it was never worn and in amazing condition! Whoever gave this bag up was crazy! One persons "trash" is another persons treasure - and this is totally my treasure!

As much as I love my milky, porcelain skin sometimes it's nice to have a little color! I am not an advocate for tanning beds or sun bathing, especially since I burn instantly and since skin cancer is a real thing. So I decided to try St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse and applicator mitt. I am actually so impressed with it! I usually stray away from self tanners because they tend to be streaky, smell disgusting and super orange (especially where I'm so pale), but this product I give two huge thumbs up!! It leaves you with such a nice natural color, doesn't streak and is great for pretty much every skin tone. So if you're looking to get a beautiful summer glow without having to hit up the tanning salon or lying in the sun for hours then you need to try it out!!

I think I found my new favorite summer beverage - the Cool Lime Refresher from Starbucks! It kinda tastes like a virgin Mojito, like yum! Needs this drink every hot day we have this summer for sure!

Sometimes a simple summer outfit is all you need. Nothing overly fancy. A skirt, denim shirt, dainty necklace, fun purse and a comfy flat! Thats what summer is all about!

This may be my new go to outfit on those days I have no idea what to put on my body! Simple yet fashionable!
