Don't Forget to Sparkle: Mules and Long Length Blazers

I've found a new love... And her name is Mariotta from Aldo! ...and yes I'm talking about a pair of shoes.. And not just any shoe! She's a Mule!

Mules are essentially Summer's boots! And if you live in Newfoundland then they should be your best friend! They're a cool hybrid of shoe meets flip flops meets boots. So pretty much perfect for our weather because it's so unpredictable. One day it could be 20 degrees and sunny and the next it could be 5 degrees with a chance of flurries in the morning and sunshine and 15 in the afternoon. So you really need to be ready for anything here and a mule is great to prepare you for whatever whether may come your way this summer! They are also super comfortable and fashionable too! They make an outfit look that much cooler. You could literally be wearing a pair of jeans and a white t shirt and they take your outfit to the next level! My tip for wearing mules is to make sure they are snug on your foot so you're not moving around too much in the shoe. I went down a half size just to get that more fitted feeling around my foot. But these shoes have some serious sass to the them though! Need more of these in my wardrobe! They come in nude too, don't be surprised if you see them in a future post!!

I also need to talk about my new favorite blazer I bought at Urban Planet! In love with the length of this and the slits up the side! It comes in black, white and light pink. I actually want them all. This piece has become my new favorite item. I pretty much wear it as a blazer and a coat. It basically doubles as a coat for the summer time because of how light weight it is. And the best part about this blazer is that I got it for $10 during Urban Planet's $10 and under event they had on this past weekend! Everything in the store was $10 or less, so I got this $30 blazer for dirt cheap! Like it basically cost the same as my lunch. Crazy crazy deal right there!!

I'm still in love with the St. Tropez Self Tanning Mousse! I first bought the 1.69 oz bottle to try out first and I loved it so much I went out and bought the 4 oz bottle! I love having a nice healthy glow to my skin for the summer time! Everyone else has gone on trips and look all nice and tanned, so why not fake it a little and pretend that I went somewhere and give myself a little glow?
